Psalm 16:11 – “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

Life is full of ups and downs, twists and turns, and moments that leave us feeling lost or unsure of the next step. It’s easy to get caught up in the struggles and miss the JOY along the way. But here’s the good news: God isn’t just watching from a distance. He’s walking with us, guiding us through every step, and offering us peace and JOY in the journey.

Psalm 16:11 reminds us that God shows us the path of life. We don’t have to figure it all out on our own. Whether we’re making decisions, facing challenges, or simply going about our daily lives, He is there, leading us forward. And as we walk in His presence, it’s not just about getting by—it’s about truly experiencing the JOY He offers.

Being in God’s presence fills us with a deep, unshakable JOY that doesn’t depend on our circumstances. It’s the kind of JOY that fills our hearts even on the toughest days. It comes from knowing God is with us, guiding and providing for us, even when things aren’t clear.

But God doesn’t just show us the way, He fills us with JOY along the way. Life isn’t meant to be a series of struggles and frustrations. The path He leads us on is filled with His love, provision, and eternal pleasures that only come from being close to Him. With every step, every challenge, and every victory, we experience the JOY of walking with the One who loves us deeply.

When we focus on God’s presence, we begin to notice the JOY He’s already placed in our lives. It’s in the quiet moments, the unexpected blessings, and even in the challenges where we learn to trust Him more. God isn’t just offering us a destination, He’s offering us JOY every step of the way.

This Christmas season, take a moment to reflect on how God has been guiding you. How has He helped you through challenges? Where have you felt His presence and JOY in your life? When we focus on Him, we realize that the path of life isn’t something we walk alone, it’s a journey He walks with us, filling us with peace and JOY every step of the way.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for walking with me through life. Thank You for guiding me and showing me the way. Help me to notice the JOY You provide, even in the smallest moments. Fill my heart with Your presence, and help me find JOY in the journey, no matter where it leads. ~ Amen.
