Hebrews 11:1
Faith is confidence in what we HOPE for and assurance about what we do not see.
Christmas powerfully embodies the HOPE and promise fulfilled in the birth of Jesus Christ. It’s a season of faith, celebrating the miraculous arrival of God’s Son into the world.
Faith gives substance to what is HOPED for, even when it's unseen or yet to come. Hebrews 11:1 calls us to trust in God's promises, even when the future seems uncertain.
At Christmas, we celebrate how the HOPE of salvation became visible in the birth of Jesus. Though many couldn't fully understand it at the time, His arrival was the ultimate proof that God’s promises are trustworthy.
Faith is not wishful thinking but a deep confidence in things not yet seen, providing assurance in God's plan. Christmas reminds us to place our trust in God’s promises, knowing that in Jesus, the HOPE of the world is realized.
HOPE strengthens our faith.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of your son. Thank you that through our faith in you our HOPE is realized. Thank you for the Christmas season and the reminder that God’s promises are true. ~ Amen
