My Vision, Jesus's Way Week 21
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised. ~ Hebrews 10:35-36 How awesome is it that through our perseverance and practice of faith that we receive God’s promises?! There are times in life when discouragement feels louder than hope. When prayers seem unanswered, plans fall apart, or the path forward grows dim, our confidence can start to waver. In Hebrews 10:35-36, we are reminded not to throw away our confidence. Why? Because it will be richly rewarded. This kind of confidence isn't rooted in ourselves, our talents, or our circumstances, it's rooted in God’s faithfulness. The writer of Hebrews encourages believers to stand firm, not because of what they see in the moment, but because of what God has promised. And those promises are always worth the wait. But notice the condition: "You need to persevere..." Faith is not passive. It’s a long walk of trust, obedience, and endurance. It means continuing to believe when nothing changes. It means doing what’s right even when results are slow or invisible. It means trusting God's timeline over our own. Perseverance isn’t about perfection, it’s about not giving up. God sees your effort, your quiet obedience, your hidden faithfulness. And He promises that when you’ve done His will, you will receive what He has promised. That’s a guarantee from a God who cannot lie. Strengthen your CONFIDENCE and perseverance with these three actions this week:
Dear Lord ~ Thank You for the reminder that my confidence in You is never wasted. Help me to hold tightly to Your promises, even when I cannot see the results. Strengthen my heart to persevere and continue doing Your will, knowing that You are faithful and Your timing is perfect.~ Amen.
My Vision, Jesus's Way Week 20
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ~ Philippians 4:13 Confidence is not about never feeling uncertain, it’s about knowing where our strength comes from. As we step into new seasons, whether it's a job, a relationship, a challenge, or a calling, we don’t have to rely on our own limited abilities. Philippians 4:13 is a powerful reminder that we are never alone, and that Christ’s strength is the source of our confidence. This verse doesn’t promise an easy path, but it does assure us that we are fully equipped for whatever lies ahead. When our confidence is rooted in Christ, we can move with boldness, not because we have all the answers, but because we trust the One who does. True confidence means showing up with courage, even when we feel unsure. It’s quiet assurance, not loud arrogance. It’s stepping forward knowing that Christ is with us, strengthening us every step of the way. When we live with this kind of confidence, we are free to pursue our purpose with passion and resilience. We become bold, not in ourselves, but in the power of Christ working through us, in all things, at all times. This week put these 3 steps in practice to walk in God-given confidence
Dear Lord ~ Thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me to walk in confidence, not because I trust myself, but because I trust You. Remind me daily that I can do all things through You. Strengthen my heart for every new challenge and fill me with bold faith to follow wherever You lead. ~ Amen
