My Vision, Jesus's Way Week 4

Isaiah 26:3 ~ "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he TRUSTS  in you."

Do you ever feel like you’re chasing after your goals, and no matter how hard you try, peace seems to slip through your fingers? You know what I mean—those moments when you look at your to-do list or check where you’re at with your goals, and all you feel is stress? Trust me, I’ve been there.

But here's the thing: perfect peace isn’t found in the hustle or in the to-do list. It's found in staying focused on Him. Isaiah 26:3 says, "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he TRUSTS in you." So, when WE TRUST God with the process, with our goals, and with our progress, we can rest. Even when it feels like we’re moving at a snail's pace, His peace can still reign.

Now, the key isn’t to ignore the goals or stop trying, but it’s remembering that He’s the author of the story. If He’s leading us, we can TRUST He’s got it under control. Those small steps? They matter. They’re all part of the bigger picture He’s unfolding.

So, what does it look like to keep peace this week while working toward your goals? Maybe it’s taking a moment each day to breathe, pause, and pray before diving into your task. Or maybe it’s reminding yourself that God’s timing is perfect, and you don’t have to rush. Whatever it is, don’t lose sight of the fact that He’s with you in every step.

Take a look at the goals you wrote down in Week 1 and think about ONE THING you can do this week to stay peaceful as you pursue them. Focus on that one thing, and trust Him with the rest.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, thank You for being my rock, for being my peace. I TRUST You with my goals, knowing that You have good plans for me. Help me to stay focused on You and to find rest in Your timing. I know You are at work in my life, even in the small steps. Give me peace today as I move forward in faith ~ Amen.

Here's to peace in the process, one step at a time. You've got this!
