My Vision, Jesus’s Way

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. ~ Colossians 2:6–7

When Paul tells us to walk in Christ, he’s inviting us into a daily, moment-by-moment journey, one where our roots sink deep into God’s truth so our lives can grow upward with strength and purpose. Just like a tree planted in rich soil, what we anchor ourselves to determines what we produce.

A growth mindset in Christ isn’t just about self-improvement, it's about Spirit led transformation. As we choose His way, practice His teachings, and trust His timing, we begin to create the life He designed for us: a life marked by peace, purpose, and steady growth.

And Paul doesn’t end with growth, he ends with gratitude. Because gratitude is what keeps our hearts soft, our eyes open, and our spirits aligned. When we overflow with thanksgiving, others see God’s work in us. Gratitude becomes our testimony.

This week, let’s walk in Him with bold confidence. Stay rooted. Grow on purpose. And let gratitude pour out of us so powerfully that it refreshes everyone we touch.

Three Action Steps for the Week:

1. Plant Your Roots - Lock onto one Scripture every morning and let it rewire your mindset. Start your day anchored, focused, and fueled by truth.

2. Practice Gratitude Out Loud - Don’t just feel grateful—speak it. Tell someone each day what you’re thankful for and watch how your gratitude lifts their spirit.

3. Walk It Out - Pinpoint one area where God is stretching you—patience, courage, discipline, compassion—and take a bold, practical step toward growth this week.

Dear Lord ~ Thank You for rooting me in Your love and truth. Help me walk in You daily, growing, learning, and becoming more like Christ. Strengthen my faith, deepen my gratitude, and let my life be an example of Your goodness. May others see Your work in me and be encouraged. ~ Amen
