My Vision - Jesus's Way

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." ~ Romans 12:12

Life can feel like a rollercoaster, some days, we feel unstoppable, and other days, we wonder if we’re making any progress at all. Achieving our goals, whether in our faith, relationships, careers, or personal growth requires perseverance. This verse reminds us that staying anchored in God, especially through prayer, is the key to pressing forward.

Be joyful in hope. Every goal starts with hope, the belief that what we’re working toward is possible. But biblical hope goes even deeper; it’s trusting that God is already moving, even before we see results. Maybe you’re striving toward a dream, working hard, and not seeing immediate progress. Keep going. Keep believing. God’s timing is perfect.

Be patient in affliction. Challenges and setbacks are part of every journey. Whether it’s a personal struggle, a delay in your plans, or a difficult season, patience allows you to keep pushing forward without losing faith. Instead of seeing obstacles as roadblocks, see them as stepping stones. Every challenge is shaping you for what’s ahead.

Be faithful in prayer. Prayer isn’t just about asking God for things, it’s about staying connected to Him through every step of your day, week, month and year.  When you’re working toward something big, prayer gives you clarity, strength, and endurance. Even when things feel slow or uncertain, keep praying. Keep seeking. Keep trusting. God hears every prayer, and He is guiding you in ways you may not yet see.

So, whatever goal you’re working toward, don’t give up. Stay hopeful, stay patient, and most importantly, stay faithful in prayer. God is walking with you every step of the way.

Dear Lord, help me to persevere in prayer as I work toward my goals. Give me hope when I feel discouraged, patience when things don’t happen right away, and faithfulness to seek You in all I do. I trust that You are leading me forward ~ Amen.
