My Vision, Jesus's Way Week 32

My Vision ~ Jesus’s Way
“Stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” ~ 1 Corinthians 15:58

You’re showing up. Serving. Staying faithful. And still, you wonder if it’s making any difference.

I get it. Life gets messy. Progress feels slow. Optimism? Some days it’s buried under stacked to-do lists, deadlines, and tired prayers.

But then I remember this truth: “Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord. Know that your work in the Lord is never wasted.”

Nothing is wasted:

  • Not the encouraging text you sent.

  • Not the quiet prayer you whispered when no one else knew.

  • Not the late-night work you did when nobody noticed or said “thank you.”

Because of Jesus and the promise of resurrection, every little thing matters.

Even when results aren’t instant.
Even when joy feels far away.
Even when you feel like you’re planting seeds in dry ground.

Be reminded, we’re not building on sand. We’re standing on rock-solid hope.

So, how do you hold on to optimism when you’re running on fumes? Here are three ways to lean in this week:

  1. Remind Yourself: “This Matters.” - When you’re doing something that feels unseen or exhausting, pause and say, “This isn’t wasted. God sees it. This matters.” It’s like hitting a spiritual refresh button, bringing your heart back to heaven’s perspective.

  2. Celebrate a Small Win Each Day. - Before bed, name one thing you did that reflected God’s love, big or small. Maybe you prayed for a friend. Maybe you showed patience with your kids. Optimism grows when we notice the good that’s already here.

  3. Anchor in Your Purpose – You already know why you serve the Lord. Maybe it’s to guide your kids, support your students, strengthen your church, care for your neighbor, or simply because you love Jesus with all your heart. Write it down and keep it where you’ll see it this week, ready to steady your heart when the days get long.

Here’s the thing: The future is already won. We don’t have to hustle for approval, we get to serve with joy, knowing our hope is unshakable.

Nothing is wasted. Not a moment.

So stand steady. Keep walking forward. Keep planting seeds. Even when you can’t see it yet, God is growing something incredible through you.

Dear Lord ~ When I’m tired and worn out, help me stay rooted in what’s true. Remind me that every act of love, every kind word, every quiet prayer matters to You. Give me joy in serving and hope while I wait. Strengthen my hands, steady my heart, and let my life show Your faithfulness. ~ Amen.
