My Vision, Jesus’s Way

Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more. ~ Luke 12:48

When Jesus spoke these words, He wasn’t trying to add pressure, He was reminding us of purpose. God doesn’t give us gifts, talents, influence, or opportunities just to admire them; He entrusts them to us so we can use them to serve others and glorify Him.

The more we’ve been given, the greater our responsibility to live with intention. Whether it’s leadership, resources, or time, each blessing carries a calling. The question isn’t “How much do I have?” but “How am I using what I’ve been given?”

Intentional living simply means waking up each day and asking, “Lord, how can I use what You’ve given me to make a difference today?” When we keep that mindset, even the small things—kind words, a helping hand, a moment of patience—start to carry real purpose.

Three Action Steps:

1. Acknowledge Your Gifts: Take inventory of what God has placed in your hands—skills, influence, relationships—and thank Him for each one.

2. Serve with Purpose: Look for one practical way to bless or support someone else this week using your strengths.

3. Stay Accountable: Ask God (and a trusted friend) to help you stay faithful in the small things—because stewardship starts there.

Dear Lord ~ Thank You for the gifts and opportunities You’ve entrusted to me. Help me use them wisely and with humility. Give me a heart that serves, a mind that’s focused, and hands that work for Your glory. Remind me daily that with every blessing comes purpose. ~ Amen.
