My Vision, Jesus’s Way

Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful. ~ 1 Corinthians 4:2

When I think of faithfulness, I think of my friend who decided to start running again after years away from fitness. She didn’t do it to impress anyone or hit a personal record. She did it because she wanted to honor God with her health, the body He entrusted her with.

At first, it was hard. Early mornings. Sore muscles. The temptation to skip “just one day.” But over time, the discipline became devotion. Her runs turned into prayer time, her training became worship, and her perseverance reminded everyone around her what steady faith looks like.

That’s what it means to prove faithful. God has placed something in your hands, a gift, a calling, a season, maybe even a struggle. Faithfulness isn’t about being perfect with it; it’s about being intentional with it. It’s choosing to keep showing up, trusting that Christ is shaping you through every step.

Becoming the best version of yourself in Christ isn’t self-improvement—it’s spiritual transformation. It’s learning to align your actions, attitude, and effort with His purpose for you.

Three Action Steps:

1. Identify your trust. What has God placed in your hands this season? A relationship, role, or responsibility? Write it down.
    

2. Show up consistently. Take one small, faithful step each day, pray before the meeting, encourage your child, finish what you start.
    

3. Invite Christ in. Don’t try to “fix” yourself. Ask Him to grow you into who He’s called you to be.

Dear Lord ~ Thank You for trusting me with this life, these gifts, and this calling. Help me to walk faithfully in what You’ve given me. Teach me to see each small act of obedience as worship. Shape my heart to reflect You more each day, and make me faithful with what You’ve placed in my care. ~ Amen
