My Vision - Jesus’s Way

Romans 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Life doesn’t always go as planned. We face setbacks, disappointments, and seasons of uncertainty that can leave us wondering where God is, and sometimes even questioning if He loves us at all. But Romans 8:28 reminds us of a powerful, unwavering truth:
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

This verse doesn’t say that some things work together for good, it says all things. That includes the joyful moments, the painful trials, and even those times when God feels distant or silent. Even when our hearts are hurting and we struggle to feel His love, He is still at work behind the scenes, weaving every piece of our lives into His greater plan.

God’s love isn’t proven by how we feel in a moment, it’s shown in His faithfulness throughout all of time. Trusting His purpose means believing that He can use even our darkest days to grow something beautiful. It means clinging to the truth of His word when our emotions try to convince us otherwise.

If you’re walking through a season where God feels far away, hold on. He has not forgotten you. He is still writing your story, still working for your good, and still loving you with a love that doesn’t waver based on circumstances.

Here are 3 things you can ask God for this week:

  1. Clarity – Ask God to help you see where He is moving, even if it’s just a glimpse.

  2. Comfort – Ask for His peace to settle your heart when you feel overwhelmed or unloved.

  3. Confidence – Ask Him to strengthen your faith and help you trust that He’s working things out, even when you can’t see how.

Dear Lord, help me to trust that You are working all things for my good, even when I don’t feel it. When doubts sneak in and I question Your love, remind me of Your promises. Strengthen my heart, increase my faith, and help me to rest in the truth that You are always near, always working, and always loving ~ Amen.
