My Vision - Jesus’s Way
Let us then approach God's throne with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.~ Hebrews 4:16
When life gets heavy, when failure, anxiety, or guilt start to pile up, it’s easy to shrink back instead of reaching out to God. In those moments, we often hesitate, feeling too messy, too broken, or too far gone to come close to God. We tend to feel we need to clean ourselves up before coming close to Him. We may feel unworthy of His attention, ashamed of where we’ve been, or unsure if He’ll meet us in the mess we’re sitting in.
But Hebrews 4:16 flips that fear on its head. It doesn’t just say we can come to God, it boldly declares that we should come with confidence. This is a radical invitation, not based on how good we’ve been, but on how good Jesus is. Because of Him, who knows our weaknesses and still chose the cross, we don’t have to tiptoe into God’s presence.
Jesus tore the veil that once separated us from God. He removed every barrier so we could come boldly, honestly, and freely. That means in our hardest, ugliest, most uncertain moments, we can stand before God, not in fear of rejection, but in full faith that His grace is real, His mercy is near, and His arms are open wide.
Pray Like You Mean It
Instead of just tossing up quick prayers, take a few minutes each day to pray with purpose. Be honest, be real, and believe that God actually wants to hear from you.
Name What You Need
Grab a journal or notes app and write down the top 2–3 things you’re struggling with right now. Then talk to God about them like you would a close friend, no filters, no fluff.
Show Up with Grace
God gives you grace, so pass it on. Go out of your way this week to show kindness or patience to someone, even if they don’t “deserve” it. That’s bold love in action.
Dear Lord ~ Thank You for making a way for me to come boldly to you. Thank You for seeing all my weaknesses and still choosing the cross. In the moments when I feel unworthy or afraid, remind me that I don’t have to earn Your presence. Help me to come honestly, with confidence, knowing Your grace is enough. Teach me to trust Your mercy and rest in Your love, even when life feels overwhelming. I choose to step into Your presence today, not in fear, but in faith. ~ Amen
