My Vision ~ Jesus's Way
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ~ Philippians 4:13
Confidence is not about never feeling uncertain, it’s about knowing where our strength comes from. As we step into new seasons, whether it's a job, a relationship, a challenge, or a calling, we don’t have to rely on our own limited abilities. Philippians 4:13 is a powerful reminder that we are never alone, and that Christ’s strength is the source of our confidence.
This verse doesn’t promise an easy path, but it does assure us that we are fully equipped for whatever lies ahead. When our confidence is rooted in Christ, we can move with boldness, not because we have all the answers, but because we trust the One who does.
True confidence means showing up with courage, even when we feel unsure. It’s quiet assurance, not loud arrogance. It’s stepping forward knowing that Christ is with us, strengthening us every step of the way.
When we live with this kind of confidence, we are free to pursue our purpose with passion and resilience. We become bold, not in ourselves, but in the power of Christ working through us, in all things, at all times.
This week put these 3 steps in practice to walk in God-given confidence
Start each day with scripture and prayer
Spend 5–10 minutes each morning reading a verse that reminds you of your identity in Christ. Ask God to fill you with His strength and confidence for the day ahead.
Take one bold step outside your comfort zone
Whether it's speaking up in a meeting, reaching out to someone, or starting something new, do one thing that requires courage, trusting Christ to meet you there.
Speak truth over yourself
Write down Philippians 4:13 or another verse that inspires confidence. Repeat it out loud whenever doubt creeps in. Remind yourself daily: “I can do this, not because of me, but because of Christ in me.”
Dear Lord ~ Thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Help me to walk in confidence, not because I trust myself, but because I trust You. Remind me daily that I can do all things through You. Strengthen my heart for every new challenge and fill me with bold faith to follow wherever You lead. ~ Amen
