My Vision ~ Jesus’s Way

It is easy to get caught up trying to make everyone else happy. Whether it’s in how we work, how we serve, or even how we show up in our relationships, we can end up chasing approval, likes, applause, recognition. But here’s the thing: that’s not what we were made for.

Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that it's faith that pleases God. Not performance. Not perfection. Just a real, honest belief that He’s there and that He cares enough to reward those who genuinely seek Him.

Faith is where it all begins. When we truly believe God is who He says He is, and that He’s good, it shifts everything. We stop needing the world’s approval because we already have something so much better: the love and acceptance of the God who made us.

Because of Jesus, we belong to Him. Not as people trying to earn our spot, but as sons and daughters, fully known and fully loved. That truth isn’t just comforting, it lights a fire in us. It motivates us. It gives us purpose, energy, and joy.

So this week, don’t just go through the motions. Let your faith be the reason behind everything you do. Live for the One who sees you, loves you, and rewards those who keep showing up and seeking Him. Let Jesus be your “why.”

Three Actions For This Week:

1. Check your motives – Before starting anything, ask, “Is this for God's glory or for others’ approval?”
    

2. Grow your faith – Spend time each day seeking God through prayer or reading His Word, trusting that He rewards those who seek Him.
    

3. Live your identity – Remind yourself daily that you are His, and let that truth motivate you to reflect His love and purpose wherever you go.

Dear Lord, Thanks for making me Yours through faith in Jesus. Help me to keep my eyes on You and live to please You, not chase the approval of others. Grow my faith and keep my heart focused on what matters most, Your glory.~ Amen.
