My Vision ~ Jesus’s Way

Keep your eyes on the path, and look straight ahead. ~ Proverbs 4:25

Focus is hard. There’s always something tugging at our attention - notifications, responsibilities, worries, what-ifs. Proverbs 4:25 calls us to lift our eyes and lock in. Not on the chaos around us, but on the path ahead, the one God is shaping under our feet.

When we lose focus, we drift. We chase things that don’t satisfy us. We get overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck. But when we fix our eyes on Christ, clarity starts to come. He becomes the filter for our choices, the compass for our direction, and the peace in our pace.

Staying focused isn’t about perfection. It’s about alignment. It’s about choosing each day to lift our gaze from the distractions and center it on Jesus, the One who leads us with wisdom and walks with us in grace.

Eyes up, friends. God’s got something good ahead - keep walking toward it.

Three Ways to Stay Focused This Week:

1. Start with Stillness - Before the day takes over, take 5 minutes of quiet, no phone, no noise. Just breathe, pray, and ask Jesus to guide your focus for the day.

2. Limit the Distractions - Choose one thing to fast from this week (social media scrolling, unnecessary multitasking, negative self-talk). Use that time to refocus on what matters most.

3. Check Your Direction Daily -  Each evening, reflect on where your thoughts and energy went. Did they pull you closer to Christ or away? Reset your aim for tomorrow.

Dear Lord ~ Help me to fix my eyes on You today. When distractions pull me in every direction, give me the strength to stay focused and the wisdom to know what truly matters. Be my center, my guide, and my peace. Help me walk with purpose and keep my heart anchored in You ~ Amen.
