My Vision, Jesus's Way Week 36

My Vision ~ Jesus’s Way

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." ~ Colossians 3:23

Picture this: you’re sitting in your favorite coffee shop, steam rising off your cup, laptop open or journal in hand. The world rushes around you, but there’s this moment of stillness. And into that space, God’s Word leans in:

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” ~ Colossians 3:23

That verse isn’t just about your job title, your to-do list, or how people see you. It’s about living every part of your life, your work, your relationships, your passions, with authenticity. Not hustling for applause, not blending in, but showing up as the person God created you to be.

The world says: fit in, follow the trend, don’t rock the boat. God says: Stand Out. Work with Heart. Live with Purpose. Shine My Light.

Being your best self in Christ doesn’t mean being perfect. It means being real. It means waking up each day with the intention of offering the truest version of yourself, the one God handcrafted, back to Him. When you do, your life becomes less about proving and more about praising.

Three Steps to Walk It Out This Week:

1. Check Your Why: Before you step into a task, whether it’s teaching, leading, parenting, or creating, pause and ask: Am I doing this for applause, or for God? Adjust your heart posture to align with Him.

2. Practice One Bold Authentic Move: Do one thing this week that reflects the real you God designed. It could be sharing your faith, leading with creativity, or speaking truth instead of staying silent. Boldness is worship.

3. End Your Day with Gratitude: Each night, write down one way you showed up as your best self in Christ. It doesn’t have to be big, just honest. Over time, you’ll see a trail of authenticity forming.

Dear Lord ~ Remind me that my worth isn’t tied to human approval but to Your calling. Help me live authentically, not hiding or shrinking, but leaning fully into the person You created me to be. May my work, my words, and my life bring You glory. ~ Amen.
